Robin Williams To Play Dwight Eisenhower In Lee Daniels' 'The Butler'
According to Variety, Robin Williams has signed on to play President Dwight D. Eisenhower in the film. The movie is based on the true story of Eugene Allen, a black man who worked as a White House servant through eight presidencies. Whitaker will playRobin Williams is set to begin production on two indie features in the coming months, including a turn as President Dwight D. Eisenhower in Lee Daniels' "The Butler" and the title character in Phil Alden Robinson's "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn."
