Comedian Phyllis Diller Dies

For decades, Phyllis Diller made her hatred of the kitchen a centerpiece of her comedy act. “I don't like to cook; I can make a TV dinner taste like radio,” she'd joke. But in real life, nothing could have been further from the truth, according to herPhyllis Diller passed away surrounded by her family and friends at her Los Angeles home. Diller was born in Lima, Ohio and is considered a pioneer in the comedy world. It was her act in the 1960's that made Diller a household name.
