Review: The Expendables 2 (2012)

Former NFL linebacker-turned-actor (not to mention past and future President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho) Terry Crews took a slightly different journey to action stardom than folks like Sly Stallone,August and September are notoriously thin months at the movie theater, but critics seemed to take extra pleasure in lashing "Expendables 2" for its crimes. The film, which stars every working action star (Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Crews, Willis, VanThe sequel bumps 'Bourne Legacy' to No. 2; "Sparkle" and "ParaNorman" end the day in a dead heat for No. 3.The Expendables 2 is a cascade of explosions and blood splatter. Bad guys are decapitated, eviscerated, and vaporized. The plot is basically the same as in the first film. The guys put down a viciously repressive military junta halfway around the worldWelcome back, boys. Sylvester Stallone and his motley crew of The Expendables 2 co-stars handily blazed to the top of the box office on Friday, shooting up $10.5 million, which should yield a final weekend gross in the $27
