Marijuana legalization victories could be short-lived

Massachusetts will become the 18th state to allow for the medical use of marijuana, starting January 1st 2013.LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (BP) -- Arkansas voters, by a narrow 51 percent majority, defeated a ballot measure on Election Day that would have made their state the first in the South to legalize medical marijuana. Meanwhile, Massachusetts overwhelminglyA total of 18 states and the District of Columbia have legalized medical marijuana. Massachusetts just came on line after the November 6, 2012 vote.
