Stanford spoils Oregon's title plans

The success of Chip Kelly's Oregon offense is more familiar than it seems.Injuries have forced Oregon to dip deep into its roster for help at some positions but fast-paced practices and blowout wins have helped the Ducks develop depth at an accelerated race.Oregon committed a rash of uncharacteristic errors - some forced and some not - to potentially end its bid for a national title.EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - E.J. Singler scored 22 points and Oregon dominated Vanderbilt in a 74-48 victory Friday night. Freshman guard Damyean Dotson had his third double-digit scoring game for the Ducks (3-0) with 10 points, and Tony Woods had 10 as well.Ducks kicker Alejandro Maldonado missed on his two field-goal attempts against Stanford, and Oregon eventually lost, in overtime, 17-14.
