Today is Fat Tuesday. This is the day before the church's festival of Ash Wednesday which is tomorrow and begins the season of Lent. Lent, as church tradition holds, is a time for spiritual reflection and restriction as we hear.

The arrests of 2013 were a bump compared to 2012 when APD reported 10 arrests during the Fat Tuesday No Refusal initiative. The program means any suspected drunk driver who refuses a breath or blood test will instead be served with a search warrant

Customers began streaming through the door at the Quality Dairy store on East Saginaw Street in Lansing early Tuesday to grab their share of paczki (POONCH'-kee), the sweet pastries associated with Fat Tuesday. Things hadn't slowed down much by late

On Tuesday at a video training class at The News Journal, some visiting Gannett reporters from New Jersey (sorry, guys, I didn't get your names!) shot and edited this really fun video at the Blue Parrot in Wilmington. I think they did an awesome job.
