After Yahoo Acquires Summly, Is Buying Math The Next Tech Bubble?

Yahoo has acquired the mobile news gathering start-up Summly, the company announced Monday.

On Monday, Yahoo announced that it was buying the mobile news reader app Summly for about $30 million. Summly has a staff of five and no revenue. It was also reported Monday that Apple was buying the indoor-GPS company WifiSLAM for $20 million.

Yahoo! has picked up the pace on pretty much everything since Marissa Mayer became CEO, especially mobile acquisitions. Today, it announced the acquisition of mobile news gathering and delivery startup, Summly.
