Milestone for Gay Athletes as Rogers Plays for Galaxy

The midfielder becomes the first openly gay male professional athlete to actually play in a major American league.

By forcing the Galaxy to pay fair market value, the Fire help MLS to shed its Mickey Mouse image.

Robbie Rogers was expected to play his first game with the Los Angeles Galaxy as early as Sunday night.
