Autopsy reveals Jason Leffler's cause of death

The autopsy results for NASCAR driver Jason Leffler show that a blunt force neck injury is what killed him in that horrific sprint car crash in New Jersey last night.

Jason Leffler, a NASCAR driver known as “LefTurn,” was killed Wednesday night in a crash during a heat race at sprint-car event at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey. Leffler, 37, was pronounced dead at Crozer-Chester Medical Center shortly after 9 p.m

Dave Blaney was watching at Bridgeport Speedway as Jason Leffler was killed when his 410 sprint car slammed into a wall twice. It won't preclude Blaney from continuing to dabble in open-wheel racing while moonlighting from his full-time Sprint Cup ride

Race car driver Jason Leffler died from a blunt force neck injury, an autopsy revealed Thursday. The Delaware County (Pa.) Medical Examiner ruled Leffler's cause of death was the neck injury he sustained when his car impacted the wall at Bridgeport
