Justin Rose won the U.S. Open, but since Phil Mickelson came in second (again) it'll play like Phil lost it. But Justin Rose (basically) kept it together while everyone else fell apart and deserves some credit for succeeding

Justin Rose won the 113th U.S. Open with a score of one over par, two better than Phil Mickelson and Jason Day. Rose, who collected a check for $1.44 million, joins the likes of Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Lee Trevino as a winner of a major championship
