Home Video Review: 'Looper'

This is the lightest week of the year when it comes to new DVD releases. "Looper," Grade B-minus: Time travel is like meth to many writers. The plot gimmick has a powerful addictive draw despite, more often than not, it resulting in a slow, painful death.You can now own Rian Johnson's latest film Looper, the noir-inspired time travel flick that blew our minds and made its way onto our ten best list, on.Making Time Travel MakeOf 2012's breakout artists, Rian Johnson is probably the year's most unassuming: protective though he is about his third film,Looper actually hit DVD and Blu-ray yesterday, but considering the holiday got in the way, I decided to delay a day just for content sake. As for whether or not this is worth a buy, I'm a bit on the fence.
