NBA Playoffs 2013: For the Knicks, 3 has not been the magic number

The Pacers pulled away from the Knicks after a low-scoring first half and won 82-71.

The Indiana Pacers put the New York Knicks on lockdown in Game 3, en route to a 82-71 win and a 2-1 series lead. Offense was optional in the first half, as neither team scored over 20 points in the first or second quarter—which led to a low scoring 36

Knicks head coach Mike Woodson said his team lacked offensive pop after New York scored just 71 points in their Game 3 loss to the Pacers.

The Indiana Pacers regained control of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the New York Knicks, thanks to aggressive play by Roy Hibbert and four quarters of lockdown defense, winning Game 3 82-71 and taking a 2-1 series lead.

The NBA Playoff schedule on Saturday features two Game 3's with each series tied. Can Kevin Durant get a win in Memphis? Can the Pacers avoid a 36-4 run? We'll find out soon enough.
